Next retreat - 26 March to 30 March 2026 Chefchaouen, Morocco
Please book your return flights to Tangier Ibn Battouta Airport (TNG) in Morocco. When you arrive, our driver will be waiting for you at the airport. Simply look for the Soul Joy Retreats sign.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place. Once you confirm your booking, we will send you a payment link to pay the deposit. The remaining 50% balance will be billed separately and is due 5 weeks before the retreat begins, we will send you an email with a payment link.
For your peace of mind, we kindly ask all guests to arrange comprehensive travel insurance that covers active holidays in Morocco, including the activities offered during the retreat. This ensures you’re fully protected in the unlikely event of illness, injury, travel delays, or any unexpected changes to your trip. These options are just suggestions and we do not endorse them.
Many guests choose providers such as:
World Nomads – https://www.worldnomads.com
SafetyWing – https://www.safetywing.com/
Allianz Travel – https://www.allianztravelinsurance.com
Staysure – https://www.staysure.co.uk
You are welcome to use any insurer you prefer — we simply want you to feel safe, supported, and fully covered throughout your retreat experience.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place. The remaining 50% balance is refundable if you cancel at least two weeks before the retreat begins. After this point, the final payment becomes non-refundable.
We kindly recommend arranging travel insurance to protect you in case unexpected circumstances prevent you from attending.
If, for any reason, SoulJoy Retreats is unable to proceed with the retreat, all payments made by you will be fully refunded. This includes your deposit and any remaining balance you have paid. We will notify you as soon as possible in the unlikely event of a cancellation and arrange your refund promptly.
The local currency in Morocco is the Moroccan Dirham (MAD). Because it is a closed currency, you cannot buy it before you travel. You can easily exchange your UK pounds at Tangier Airport on arrival, we strongly recommend to do that.
Most larger shops, hotels, and restaurants accept card payments, but it’s helpful to have cash for smaller purchases, local transport, markets, and tips — especially in more rural areas like those around the retreat.
We provide a healthy breakfast and dinner each day during the retreat. If you are vegan, vegetarian, or have any food allergies or dietary needs, please let us know when booking so we can make sure your meals are prepared with care.
We will send you a checklist that you will need to fill in when you make a booking.
A simple packing list: yoga clothes, comfortable walking shoes, swimsuit, sunscreen, reusable water bottle.
Our retreat is open to all levels, from complete beginners to experienced practitioners. Each morning we offer dynamic yoga, with plenty of modifications so you can move at a pace that feels right for your body.
In the evenings, sessions alternate between yin yoga and sound baths, both of which are gentle restorative and suitable for everyone.
You’re welcome just as you are — no specific level of yoga experience is required.
